RCUK and RCGP partner to create ‘Community CPR in the COVID-19 world’ resources

Resuscitation Council UK and the Royal College of General Practitioners have partnered to develop a range of resources about Community CPR in the COVID-19 world.

The webinar and resources outline the actions professionals working in Primary Care settings should take if someone is in cardiac arrest. With discussions on resuscitating adults and children during the pandemic, the webinar features conversations about whether CPR is an aerosol-generating procedure, what PPE should be worn, and the ethics of attempting CPR.

As part of this, Resuscitation Council UK developed a short video which demonstrates our guidance for performing CPR and using a defibrillator in a community setting, which you can watch below.

You can access the full webinar and all resources on the RCGP website.
