Instructor Candidates must be allocated appropriate faculty members as their mentors.
3.3
At the start of the course, the Director must:
facilitate a brief introduction of the faculty and candidates
give an overview of the course programme
detail the requirements for successful completion of the course
outline the criteria used for selecting Instructor Potentials
provide details of specific housekeeping issues.
3.4
The Course Director must be present throughout the entire course.
3.5
During the course, the Course Director should identify and facilitate appropriate faculty meetings
at which any concerns of the faculty can be discussed.
3.6
Following the assessment stations, a final faculty meeting must be held, during which:
the course completion status of all candidates is decided
any course organisational problems are addressed
all relevant paperwork relating to the candidates is completed.
